Barbecue Sauce

Barbecue Sauce: 

Good for hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, or spare ribs.

  • ½ cup of chopped onions
  • 2 tablespoons fat or oil
  • ½ clove garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¾ cup water
  • ¾ cup catsup
  • Salt and pepper

Cook onions in fat until lightly browned. Add other ingredients, cover, and simmer about 20 minutes. Serve hot.
